NOW OPEN FFRC ENGINE DIVISION
It’s official. We are excited to announce FFRC is now building custom designed race engines! This has been a long process in the making. We started planning for this 4 years ago, and slowly began acquiring all the equipment necessary to build high end, big horse power race engines. This division of the business is new to FFRC, however, I have been building race engines for over 25 years. Our team at FFRC will be applying the same business sense and attention to detail with our Engine Division as we do with our Chassis Division. We look forward to continued success and hands on customer experience with this combination, just as we have had for so many years.
Utilizing our CNC technology and our brand new state of the art SuperFlow Dynamometer, which is capable of handling 3000 horse power, to design and develop tailor made race engines that are tested and proven before they leave our engineering facility.
We are up, running and off to a great start with completed engines for 3 of Chicagolands well known racers: “Plumber Kevin” Connolly, with his multi-kit BBC nitrous combo; Joey Rabiola, aka “Boost 12”, with his twin turbo BBC on methanol; and “Heyyo Steve” Gillaspie with his LSX single turbo setup. These are just a few of our clients that chose to run our engines, with more hard core racers engines in the works! We will now be your one stop shop for Horsepower and Hook!! Fast Forward Race Cars Nitrous Mustang vs Gangster Class – KOTS
This bad ass late model mustang is rocking a Chevy power plant with a GIANT dose of nitrous! King of the Streets comes around twice a year and puts together a field of cars in the Gangster class that range from big twin turbo power plants to cars with multiple stages of nitrous, all on a 26” tire! The original no prep race is truly challenging and one of the most difficult races to win!
